David Sykes Electrical is serious about operating a Quality Management System. This commitment by senior management to providing quality services is highlighted within the Corporate Mission Statement for developing the business. To help David Sykes Electrical achieve its Corporate Mission a more detailed Quality Statement has been developed: ‘David Sykes Electrical is totally committed to setting and achieving quality standards that are capable of meeting, in all respects, the specified requirements and reasonable expectations of our customers.

The Company shall develop and maintain a Quality Management System that conforms to the requirements of ISO 9001 so that we can provide and maintain a consistently high quality in all work we undertake. Our Quality Management System shall ensure that proper communication; work control and accountable records are generated for all work undertaken.

To achieve this objective, everyone’s involvement and commitment is vital in adhering to the system adopted and in fully appreciating their responsibilities. Everyone connected with David Sykes Electrical shall be supported according to their individual needs for personal development, training and facilities’.

Staff Development

David Sykes Electrical firmly believe in staff development and are committed to reaching the standards required for the Investors in People certification.

Materials

The quality of our materials we purchase and supply are crucial to the quality of the work that we are able to deliver to our customers. We source the vast majority of installation materials from our four main partner wholesalers who are committed to giving us the highest levels of personal service.

The materials we source are of the highest quality. We will not compromise quality to achieve lower prices. We have always used materials to the standards dictated by the British Standards Institute unless a higher specification is required.

Plant and Vehicles

We have a policy of purchasing the highest quality of plant and test equipment from our partner suppliers. Our quality systems then require that we test the performance of these items on a regular basis. If an item becomes unsafe, it is either disposed of or repaired. With quality controlled test equipment there is a continually monitored calibration compliance programme.

Investment

We have a policy of complete financial prudence. We reinvest our profits to improve both the depth and range of services that we are able to offer our clients. We invest in our business so those customers can invest their faith in us.

After Sales Support

David Sykes Electrical are keenly aware that the supply of a service does not end at the completion of a contract. Therefore after-sales support such as technical, service, maintenance and follow up are essential considerations. David Sykes Electrical will endeavour to offer the highest standards and the most comprehensive service.
