We design and install lighting and power systems, sign lighting, roller doors and automated gates, showroom lighting, valet bays and electric vehicle charge points. Other areas of work include heating and ventilation, intruder alarm, CCTV and door entry systems and emergency fire alarms and lighting. Our team also work in hazardous areas and can install and maintain electric pumps and motors in commercial and industrial environments. Our work is always to the highest standards and meets current regulations.
We work on a variety of size of commercial and industrial projects from small retail shops, to large offices, warehouses and factories. We cover abroad spectrum of requirements and supply a range of options, from small power distribution to sub mains and switchgear distribution systems, right the way back to the mains intake. We have our own software to calculate cable size to comply with the requirements of BS7671 and print out complete schedules of all cable in any system.
David Sykes Electrical provides bespoke solutions, such as self-intelligent lighting systems for energy management and office and industrial lighting solutions, whether they are aimed at energy management or space lighting. We can plan, design and implement for client’s providing CAD layouts and lighting calculations.
We are experienced in the installation and termination of network and telephone cabling including copper (Cat 5, 5e and 6). This network cabling can support many infrastructure controls including building management systems.
